NY TechDay 2017

Published on January 14, 2017 by Maliha Javed

NY TechDay 2017 is a platform that provides the opportunity of connecting the massive startup community together by planning events for all under one roof. It brings together the entire tech community from Industry leaders, investors, new startups, and of course the press. This year NY TechDay returns for the sixth installment of the US’ largest startup event that will be held on April 18th at Pier 94. The event will host over 575 innovative startups across all sectors from music and media, health, fashion, education, eCommerce to food and art. Further including 20 premiere accelerators, tons of larger tech brands and resources, a live demo stage, and 35,000 members of the tech community. What’s new this year by TechDay is the introduction of Access, an intimate series of Ask Me Anything (AMA) style sessions for mid stage founders led by later stage founders.

Last year Tech Day had about more than 10,000 attendees ranging from the press, investors, innovators, school groups, and tech enthusiasts seeking for employment. It is a great initiative to inform the people which startups are in demand from the public and how an interactive communication among different various people can help one to work with it. Cyna Alderman, managing director of the Daily News Innovation Lab spoke out saying:

Tech Day is a great way to bring together people who are doing very interesting things in different spaces. It’s a really exciting environment to be in to get a sense of what is happening in the New York tech environment.”
